CBLE Prep: Customs Broker Exam — Terms of Use

These terms apply to CBLE Prep: Customs Broker Exam ("CBLE Prep", "the app") and to this website. They are published by Vitalii Haliuk, an individual developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, the "Apple EULA"). These terms add to the Apple EULA; if they conflict on the license itself, the Apple EULA prevails.

An independent study aid, not an official product

CBLE Prep is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or any government agency. "CBLE" and "Customs Broker License Examination" refer to the examination administered by CBP and are used only to describe what the app helps you prepare for.

The questions are original practice questions written for the app. They are not actual exam questions, and we have no access to the exam. They are written to follow the published exam format and subject areas and to practice working with the reference materials, but they cannot predict the content of any particular exam.

The app is for education only. It is not legal, customs or trade compliance advice and is no substitute for the official sources. Regulations change, and the exam allows only specific editions of the references; always check CBP's current exam notice. We work to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors, and we do not guarantee any exam result.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA and Apple's usage rules. You may not:

• copy, publish, resell or distribute the questions, explanations or other content, including by extracting them from the app or its files;
• reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law allows it;
• remove copyright or other notices;
• use the app unlawfully, or try to bypass the purchase or access controls.

Free plan and Pro

The free plan includes a starter set of questions, the placement diagnostic and one full exam simulation. "CBLE Prep Pro" unlocks all questions and unlimited simulations and is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (every 3 months, or every week) and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency; they may differ by country and include taxes where applicable.

Subscriptions

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (in the app: Settings > Pro > Manage subscription). Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If a price changes, Apple will tell you and, where required, ask for your consent.

Free trial

If a plan offers a free trial and you are eligible, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. A free trial is offered once per Apple Account. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Lifetime purchase

The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for Pro. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer the app, not for the length of your life. If we ever discontinue the app, we will give reasonable notice where practicable. You can restore it on your devices with the same Apple Account. Family Sharing is not supported.

Billing, refunds and your rights

Purchases are processed by Apple, which handles billing, taxes and refunds under its own policies (https://reportaproblem.apple.com). Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

When access ends

If a subscription ends, your progress stays in the app. Questions outside the free plan are locked again until you purchase, and questions you have already answered stay available.

Your data

Your study data, notes and settings stay on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device. See our Privacy Policy (https://examsupport.pages.dev/cble/privacy/) for how personal data is handled.

Intellectual property

The app, its questions, explanations, text and design are owned by us and protected by copyright. The regulations the questions cite (such as 19 CFR and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule) are public documents of the U.S. government. Other names and trademarks belong to their owners; Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. If you send us suggestions or corrections, you give us a free, non-exclusive right to use them.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features or content, and we may stop offering the app. We may change these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, the app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, current or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes warranties or rights that the law of your country does not allow to be excluded.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data stored on your device, exam fees, exam results or decisions you make using the content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim or, if you paid nothing, USD 50. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited, including mandatory consumer protection rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live continue to apply to you, and nothing here takes away rights you have under them. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at exampass.support@gmail.com so that we can try to resolve it.

General

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, the Apple EULA and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the app. The English version prevails over any translation.
