FRM Exam Prep: Part 1 & 2 — Terms of Use
Effective date: October 11, 2026
These terms apply to FRM Exam Prep: Part 1 & 2 ("FRM Prep", "the app") and to this website. They are published by Vitalii Haliuk, an individual developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, the "Apple EULA"). These terms add to the Apple EULA; if they conflict on the license itself, the Apple EULA prevails.
An independent study aid, not an official product
FRM Prep is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by GARP (the Global Association of Risk Professionals). "FRM®" and "GARP®" are registered trademarks of GARP, used here only to describe the examination the app helps you prepare for. We use no GARP logo or material.
The questions are original practice questions written for the app. They are not actual exam questions, and we have no access to the exam. They are written to follow the published exam format, topics and learning objectives, but they cannot predict the content of any particular exam. Practice exams in the app are not GARP practice exams.
The app is for education only. It is not investment, financial, legal or regulatory advice and is no substitute for the official curriculum. The curriculum, the exam format, the dates, the fees and the permitted calculators are set by GARP and change; always check GARP's current Candidate Guide and notices (garp.org/frm). We work to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. GARP reports pass or fail only and publishes no pass mark, so any target, readiness figure or score in the app is our estimate or your own goal, not a prediction of your result, and we do not guarantee any exam result.
The on-screen calculators imitate the keys and behavior of the models GARP permits (the BA II Plus and the HP 12C families) for practice. They are not those products, are not made by or affiliated with Texas Instruments or HP Inc., and are not allowed in the exam room; on exam day you bring one of GARP's approved models with its memory cleared. Always check your own calculator's behavior and settings.
License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA and Apple's usage rules. You may not:
- copy, publish, resell or distribute the questions, explanations or other content, including by extracting them from the app or its files;
- reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law allows it;
- remove copyright or other notices;
- use the app unlawfully, or try to bypass the purchase or access controls.
Free plan and paid plans
The free plan includes a starter set of questions in each Part, the placement diagnostic, the calculator trainer and the Formula Lab; the diagnostic uses that same starter set. Exam simulations are part of the paid plans. The app offers paid plans that unlock all questions and unlimited simulations: FRM Complete (both Parts, 365 days), a Part I Pass or a Part II Pass (that Part, 150 days) and a 30-Day Pass (both Parts, 30 days). Each is a one-time purchase for a fixed period of access. None of them renews, and the app offers no automatically renewing subscription and no free trial that turns into a charge. A Part Pass unlocks only its Part; FRM Complete and the 30-Day Pass unlock both. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency; they may differ by country and include taxes where applicable. The plans offered may change; a change never affects a pass you have already bought.
Payment
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
Passes
FRM Complete, a Part Pass and the 30-Day Pass are one-time payments, offered as non-renewing subscriptions: each gives full access to the Part (or Parts) it covers for a fixed number of days from the day you buy it, shown on the purchase screen before you buy (365 days for FRM Complete, 150 days for one Part, 30 days for the 30-Day Pass), until the end of the last day in your calendar, and then ends. It does not renew and you are not charged again. Its length does not depend on your exam date. Apple records when you bought it; the app counts the days from that date, so setting the clock on your device back does not make it longer. If the clock is set ahead, access can look finished until the date is corrected. If you buy a second pass while one is running, the access that reaches furthest applies; you can buy a pass again after it ends, and restore it on your devices with the same Apple Account (Settings > Your plan > Restore purchases, or on the purchase screen). Family Sharing is not supported.
Billing, refunds and your rights
Purchases are processed by Apple, which handles billing, taxes and refunds under its own policies (https://reportaproblem.apple.com). Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
When access ends
When a pass ends, your progress stays in the app. Questions outside the free plan are locked again until you purchase, and questions you have already answered stay available.
Your data
Your study data, notes and settings stay on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device. See our Privacy Policy (https://examsupport.pages.dev/frm/privacy/) for how personal data is handled.
Intellectual property
The app, its questions, explanations, text and design are owned by us and protected by copyright. The curriculum documents and standards the questions refer to belong to their owners. Other names and trademarks belong to their owners; FRM and GARP are registered trademarks of GARP; Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. If you send us suggestions or corrections, you give us a free, non-exclusive right to use them.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features or content, and we may stop offering the app. We may change these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, current or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes warranties or rights that the law of your country does not allow to be excluded.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data stored on your device, exam fees, exam results or decisions you make using the content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for plans in the app in the 12 months before the claim or, if you paid nothing, USD 50. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited, including mandatory consumer protection rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live continue to apply to you, and nothing here takes away rights you have under them. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at exampass.support@gmail.com so that we can try to resolve it.
General
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, the Apple EULA and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the app. The English version prevails over any translation.
