Changing your date

Which window should you choose?

Work backwards from the exam date. GARP says candidates spend about 275 hours studying on average, with reported times from under 100 to over 400. At 10 hours a week that is about 28 weeks; at 15 hours a week, about 18 weeks; at 20 hours a week, about 14 weeks. Part II needs Part I passed first, so a candidate sitting both Parts in the same window must be ready for both at once.

In FRM Prep, set your exam date under Settings. The app counts down to the first day of your window (or to the day you pick), and the daily goal it recommends is the smallest goal that gets you through every question before the last week, which is kept for review and a final simulation.
